Hi! We’re Melanie and Mike, a dog-loving couple based in Kearny, NJ, offering in-home daycare, half-day daycare, and overnight boarding in a calm, structured, and loving environment.

Melanie works from home as a Cybersecurity Analyst, and Mike owns a local gym. This means your pup is never left alone and always has supervision, attention, and companionship throughout the day.

We’re both Pet CPR Certified and Fear Free® Trained, so your dog is in capable and compassionate hands. Our focus is on creating a safe, low-stress space where dogs can relax, play, and feel at home, not a crowded kennel environment.

Dogs in our care are free to roam, lounge, and settle in comfortably, just like they would in their own home. We provide supervised playtime, routine potty breaks, and daily structure, along with regular photo updates so you can enjoy seeing how your pup is doing while you’re away.

Melanie grew up surrounded by dogs, from her loyal German Shepherd Bandit to her childhood pup Sirie, who is now the beloved mascot of House of Dogs. Mike grew up with his Shih Tzu, Snoopy, who still holds a special place in his heart. Together, we truly understand how important trust and peace of mind are when leaving your dog in someone else’s care.

At this time, we do not offer drop-in visits or dog walking. Our services are focused exclusively on daycare, half-day daycare, and overnight boarding so every dog receives consistent attention and care.
