We’re Melanie and Mike, a dog-loving couple based in Kearny, NJ. Melanie works from home as a Cybersecurity Analyst, and Mike owns a local gym, which means your pup will always have someone around for attention, playtime, and care.

We’re both Pet CPR Certified and Fear Free® Trained, so your furry friend will be in calm, capable, and compassionate hands. We believe in giving dogs the structure, love, and fun they deserve, including 30-minute walks at least three to four times a day to keep them happy and active.

In our home, dogs are free to roam, relax, and make themselves comfortable, just like they would in their own home. We also send plenty of photo updates so you can enjoy all the tail wags and happy moments while you’re away.

Melanie grew up surrounded by dogs, from her loyal German Shepherd Bandit to her childhood pup Sirie, who’s now the beloved mascot of House of Dogs. Mike had a Shih Tzu named Snoopy, who still holds a special place in his heart. Together, we truly understand how meaningful the bond between humans and dogs can be.

We also offer dog walking for nearby pups who need a little extra care and exercise during the day.
